Kathleen Milsark, Esq.
Kathleen has extensive commercial litigation experience in a wide range of subject matter areas. Before joining Haines & Associates, she spent nearly twenty years as a general litigator at a large general practice law firm, where her primary focus was on “big case” complex commercial litigation, including antitrust, intellectual property, corporate contract, and securities and shareholder litigation. She spent the following nine years with an intellectual property boutique, specializing in patent litigation in industries including telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and polymer science, where she also provided antitrust advice on intellectual property-related matters.
Kathleen received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, cum laude, where she was Executive Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and became a member of the Order of the Coif. She began her career clerking in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania for the late Judge Edward R. Becker, who later became Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before several federal courts, including the Third, Ninth, and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals.
Before entering law school, Kathleen received a degree in music education from Indiana University and taught music in the public schools. She maintains an avid interest in chamber music, as well as in hiking, canoeing, and other outdoor pursuits.
