Elizabeth Cipolletti, Esq., Associate
Ms. Cipolletti was born in New Jersey and lived in Illinois, but spent her high school years in Wilton, Connecticut. A true water lover, those places were quickly forgotten after Ms. Cipolletti’s parents moved to the Massachusetts coast – her now ‘adopted’ hometown.
She does not describe herself as a born attorney, although as the oldest of ten children, one might have cause to contradict her. After years of mediating, and causing fights with her brothers and sisters, Ms. Cipolletti went to Lafayette College thinking that she was done with the constant talking, and opining, and would sit back and assimilate into the crowd in her pre-med studies. This lasted approximately one semester and Ms. Cipolletti left college with a double major in English and Gov. Law.
Ms. Cipolletti’s interest in Law was piqued during her sophomore year after she decided to take a six-week course about politics and the law in Israel and Jordan. This trip not only sparked her interest in human rights and the law, but her passion (or obsession) with travel.
Both of these interests were continued at Northeastern Law School, where Ms. Cipolletti seized the opportunities offered through the co-op program where she studied abroad in Argentina, Chile and South Africa, and interned in San Diego, California and Washington, D.C. Ms. Cipolletti went to law school because she believes that the legal field offers the most effective opportunity to affect change both politically, and socially.
Since her first international trip to Israel, Ms. Cipolletti has traveled to 20 different countries and extensively throughout the United States. In her spare time Ms. Cipolletti enjoys running, snowboarding, surfing, and has been practicing yoga for ten years.
Ms. Cipolletti likes to work on a variety of legal issues with a focus on intellectual property litigation.
