Patrick Campbell, Esq.
Pat is a nationally recognized commercial litigator, union negotiator and organizer. Much of his experience has been in the sports industry, representing players and unions, including members of the field staff of the PGA Tour. For nine years, he represented the umpires of Major League Baseball as associate counsel to the MLUA.
His national practice focuses on sports, labor, employment and contract law. He has successfully organized and obtained certification for two unions—the rules officials and the agronomists of the PGA Tour. Pat continues to represent these unions in collective bargaining negotiations and other labor matters.
He has successfully represented employees in labor and employment disputes before the U.S. Supreme Court, the National Labor Relations Board (NRLB), the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and several district and circuit courts.
He graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University (’85) with a degree in finance. He then went on to earn his law degree cum laude from Villanova Law School (’88) where he was Order of the Coif and a member of the Villanova Law Review.
Pat worked for Dechert and Cozen O’Connor before joining the firm of Richard G. Phillips Associates. He was also a founding partner of Phillips, Campbell & Phillips.
